Summary/Objective
The Event Leader is responsible for providing quality and efficient customer service to clients through the daily coordination of operations in adherence to all company policies and standards of behavior. Event Leader is empowered to maintain operational standards in event spaces and provide developmental feedback to business partners and colleagues.

Essential Functions

• Support in planning, coordinating, developing, marketing, communicating and executing public events at 5eleven and Bodacious.
• Tour potential clients, determine pricing, manage contracts and collect all deposit and balance payments
• Adhere to budget by controlling costs and maintaining expenses
• Establish work procedures and processes that support the company and departmental standards, procedures and strategic directives
• Create and implement customer surveys and report on outcomes
• Provides continual evaluation of processes and procedures. Responsible for suggesting methods to improve area operations, efficiency and service to both internal and external customers
• Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
• Find potential clients, present to them, ultimately convert them into clients, and continue to grow business
• Partner with Events Director to create new ideas for events
• Maintain TripleSeat to ensure calendar is up to date with bookings and events
• Coordinate cleaning days/times and ensure cleanings meet standards
• Performs all other duties as requested or directed

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Maintain professional attitude and appearance at all times
• Must have effective verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of retail and/or food and restaurant environments
• Able to multi-task and problem solve
• Prior supervisory experience and outside sales experience preferred
• Well-organized and detail-oriented with all guest services
• Required to stand, walk, and lift items (up to 30 lbs.) on a regular basis
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED and one to three years of related experience and/or training preferred, or related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours will vary to include evening and weekend work according to business needs.

Rate of Pay

This is an hourly position paying $16-$18 per hour based on experience.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The key physical requirements of this position include the ability to walk and stand for an extended period of time, bending, stooping, lift up to 30 pounds, and the use of standard kitchen and office equipment including computers.
