Mechanical Engineer/Designer/Technical Background – Candidate will work for pinnacle Automotive & Appliance Conveyor Company, specializing in “Legacy” Overhead, Floor conveyor and specialty automated equipment. The Company is celebrating its 50th year under new growth management.

Looking for an established Sales Engineer, with a “Strong work Ethic” to work in a balanced environment of 30% Sales Development, 30% Design Layout/Estimate development, 30% Post Sale Project Management. 10% Administrative duties along with Product Communication/Development with Shop/Field.

Duties/Responsibilities/ Technical Aptitudes/ Education

• Main Objective is to “develop solutions”/working with scope of work utilizing legacy products that are known to set the standard in quality and to have the most robust features in the market.
• Ability to “develop unique, out-of-the-box ideas regarding material handling solutions”
• Create “sales to build drawings,” with the ability to communicate and validate downstream to detailers, shop/install the exact customer’s needs.

• Maintain records of sign-offs, change-orders, and scheduling changes as project commences
• Strong Proficiency in AutoCAD required, Inventor a plus
• Strong communicative skills verbally and administratively; through the use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong understanding of margin basis versus cost. High coordinator, administrative and communicative skills.
• Experience in either Automotive, Appliance or Industrial Conveyors a plus

• Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of working experience required, would consider if candidate has equivalent experience from specific industry.
• Must be able to travel (20% - 25%) to site and see first hand pre-project design, follow-up after install and trouble-shooting if necessary.
