Full description of the position

KARRASS has been the world leader in negotiation training for 55 years. More than 1,000,000 professionals from over 10,000 companies have attended KARRASS seminars. We offer public programs to individuals, and private, customized programs to companies from every industry all over the world. With the addition of our new Virtual Programs, our business is growing fast.

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic team-player to grow with us. As an Account Manager, your primary focus will be developing client relationships with companies large and small, working closely with the Sales Director and Director. You will be expected to:

  • Engage prospective customers via phone, email, and outbound warm calls from leads generated by marketing.
  • Manage accounts of all sizes by representing your team externally with clients and internally by working with direct reports and supporting positions.
  • Craft and undertake sales initiatives to draw new clients.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the market, products, and benefits.
  • Manage day-to-day client communication and ongoing relationships as it relates to current, new and upcoming projects.
  • Close sales, impact sales results, and achieve monthly quotas.

The successful candidate will have: the ability to effectively project, manage, and monitor sales development, will have a high level of comfort with Excel/Word and CRM, outstanding verbal and written communication skills, excellent customer service and listening skills, flexibility, and the ability to manage time effectively.

  • 3-5 years of sales and / or account management experience (in a similar discipline preferred: corporate training, business to business services)
  • Experience selling non-tangible products preferred.
  • Proven ability to contribute in a fast-paced environment consistently and positively.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with client leaders of all levels (C-level down to entry-level support roles)
  • Able to work independently and manage personal and team member time, prioritizing deliverables and deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.

We offer base salary + commission, performance-based commission increase, health benefit package, and a great office in Santa Monica.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
