Architect & Designer Rep – Seattle, Wa

Become part of our highly successful and customer service centered team at Stratus Surfaces. We are a newly founded company with over 20 years of industry experience, with locations in Texas, Washington, and Oklahoma. Candidate MUST live in the Seattle area.

Responsibilities:

• Develop relationships with current customers and acquire relationships with new customers.
• Understand our product offerings and be able to educate and explain to customers.
• Give presentations to architect & designer groups (1-20+ people).
• Provide and manage samples for customers libraries.
• Be actively involved in industry associations for networking purposes.
• Be able to travel within your territory (WA & OR).
• Investigate and resolve customer claims or other issues.
• Be able to meet with clients daily, attend industry events, possibly outside of normal work hours.
• Availability to work one Saturday a month in either our Seattle or Kent showroom.

Experience/Skills Required:

• 2 years of outside sales/customer service experience (required).
• Minimum high school diploma, undergraduate preferred.
• Previous industry experience (preferred, but not required).
• Must be a self-starter.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Great communication and people skills.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and part of a team.
• Ability to bend, lift (at least 30 lbs), or kneel.

Showroom/Slab Gallery hours of operation are Monday – Friday 8a – 5p and Saturday 10a-2p.
