About us

EW Bullock is seeking an experienced Marketing Strategist to join our team. If you’re success-driven, creative, fun, energetic, and love to work in a team-oriented, high-energy, client-focused environment, this might be for you.

We’re looking for a experienced strategist who is well-versed in planning and directing marketing strategies across traditional, digital and social tactics. Responsibilities include managing key accounts, research, planning, implementation, trafficking and evaluation of integrated campaigns.

The ideal candidate must be able to conceptualize and think strategically and have strong observational and communication skills. Additional characteristics include strong experience in brand management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to build genuine, effective relationships with vendors and clients.

This is a full-time, in-office position, in an open office environment.
Compensation is dependent upon experience and demonstrated expertise.

A Few Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Advertising and/or Communications
  • Minimum of 3 year’s experience in client account management, ideally within an advertising agency
  • Experience working across media channels. Solid understanding of the role, effectiveness and inter-dependence of different media channels by target and category.
  • Highly organized with the ability to work with a diverse array of clients
  • Self-starter, skilled in managing projects from the ground up
  • Solid oral and written communication skills
  • Skilled in diplomatically handling difficult situations
  • In-depth knowledge and proven experience developing and managing traditional, digital and social campaigns
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Precise attention to detail
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects at once
  • Desire to learn, improve and grow
  • Professional polish - ability to clearly and confidently communicate with clients
  • Proficient in Mac operating system

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the direct point of contact with the client, representing the agency’s values and building strong relationships with the client and their internal team
  • Coordinate and communicate pertinent project information to the agency team, ensuring that deliverables meet and exceed the client’s expectations while staying on-time and on-budget
  • Research and recommend marketing strategies to suit client objectives
  • Lead project executions, managing timelines, working with the agency team to meet client deliverables
  • Manage all aspects of client campaigns from concepting ideas to campaign development to media planning and budget
  • Manage multiple accounts with a creative mind, strategic thinking and a positive attitude
  • Understand and uncover client needs
  • Provide input for new ideas and development of client strategies
  • Consult with clients to define goals, determine project scope and budget, develop timelines and measurement metrics.
  • Work closely with graphic artists, writers, PR practitioners and media buyers to ensure client work is executed properly, in a timely manner and meets client expectations.
  • Serve as the brand manager for each client, ensuring work follows the look, feel and style of the client’s brand
  • Work with client and agency teams to plan and strategize innovative campaigns and initiatives
  • Maintain consistent contact with clients, providing status reports on progress
  • Quality assurance – ensuring all client materials are proofed delivered as ordered
  • Grow the agency’s existing book of business and seek out new, right-fit clients
  • Stay current with agency and client industry trends, tools and practices
  • Self-directed professional knowledge development
