Pro Sales Inc is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This career is your opportunity to be a part of an established, family-owned company and thrive in an environment where you are recognized and rewarded.

Outside Sales Representatives are an integral team member at Pro Sales Inc. You will work hand-in-hand with our inside sales staff as well as engineers in the field to bring quality solutions to our customers. Your territory will have 300+ accounts in various types of food processing plants throughout Western Washington.

Outside Sales Representative – Duties / Responsibilities

Lead Generation:

  • Follow up on leads generated from Inside Sales associates
  • Build targeted proposals based on customer history and perform cold calls at plants
  • Develop weekly sales plan
  • Develop and maintain customer & vendor relationships
  • Monitor sales trends and product performance results

Sales & Quoting:

  • Build quotes based on customer needs
  • Research application-specific solutions for your clients
  • Follow up on old quotes
  • Continually enhance sales skills and product knowledge to promote a professional image in the field
  • Work with other department personnel to ensure great customer service from the order to the delivery and beyond
  • Actively upsell our products and close on existing orders
  • Daily travel to customer accounts throughout Western Washington

Other duties as assigned

What we are looking for:

  • 3+ years of Sales & Customer Service experience
  • 3+ years of experience in Food & Beverage Processing
  • Basic mechanical knowledge
  • Computer literacy & experience in sales software
  • Basic knowledge of Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Able to coordinate with a team both locally and remotely
  • Competitive, self-starter who is both ambitious and works well in a team environment
  • A strong sales presence
  • Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
  • Valid Driver's License
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
