We are looking for an experienced interior designer with solid design skills to integrate into our team. We offer a competitive compensation package.

• California Design Center is a full service interior design company from remodel to furniture design.
• luxury furniture, flooring, kitchen & bath showroom

Requirements: * 3+ years of design and or furniture retail sales experience

• Assist walk in clients with questions on renovations and designs
• Participate in design teams on projects
• Collaborate on interior projects, including programming client needs, conceptual and schematic design, design development.
• Develop space planning concepts
• Multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications * Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Detail oriented and organized
• Self-motivated
• Ability to work collaboratively

Necessary Skills * AutoCAD, Sketch up, Microsoft Office, Excel and Photoshop

• Associates or Bachelors Degree in Interior Design
• 3D software skills are appreciated

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Commission pay

Education:

• Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

• Adobe Photoshop: 2 years (Required)
• AutoCAD: 3 years (Required)
• Retail sales: 3 years (Required)
