COMMERCIAL ESTIMATOR / SALESPERSON

We are a dynamic South Florida roofing company with a leading reputation and multi-decade history that is looking for an experienced commercial roofing Estimator to join our team.

Our Estimators spend much of their time visiting with prospective customers at their properties or offices, reviewing architectural plans, or visiting active job sites. They are the primary external representatives of our company. This position requires drive, self-motivation, the desire to help customers, confidence (without arrogance), strong knowledge of roofing, understanding of commercial roofing systems and manufacturers, and a high degree of professionalism to represent the company. We are looking for long-term career minded persons.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect roofing and provide full detail of condition, size and type
• Draw detailed roof diagrams, perform take off, draft scopes of work, and prepare pricing for roofing repair or reroofing contracts
• Deep understanding of commercial roofing systems and manufacturers
• Ability to climb ladders and inspect roofing systems
• Capacity to read, interpret, and estimate off architectural plans
• Manage customer relationships from lead to signed contract and through handoff to Field Operations

The Perfect Candidate Has:

• Minimum of five years commercial roofing estimating with strong knowledge of roofing systems and installation plus preferably some exposure to residential roofing
• High integrity
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience managing customer leads with exceptional follow up skills
• Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
• Must be highly proficient with computer skills
• Microsoft Office and Basic Excel knowledge
• The Edge roofing estimating software experience strongly preferred
