JOB SUMMARY:
The Lease Administrator will collaborate across multiple internal departments (property management, accounting, leasing, corporate) to ensure all transactions are completed with accuracy and through strategic analysis. Function as the primary resource for all lease transaction tracking while reporting to the senior management of the company.
Responsibilities:
Legal Support:
- Assist in drafting and preparation of various commercial real estate documents including but not limited to lease documents, amendments, tenant notices, license agreements and storage agreements
- Update and maintain forms to be used in the drafting of legal documents
- Abstract critical lease terms, including recovery clauses and options
- Regularly review critical lease dates and options (expansion, extension and ROFO) maintained in MRI; present to Leadership as needed
- Field and discuss lease-related questions and/or open issues with Property Managers and follow up with other departments as needed
Information Management:
- Review annual true-up calculations related to tenant expense recoveries once prepared and submitted by Property Management teams.
- Review and approve retroactive billings/adjustments to tenants based on new lease information, prepared by Property Management teams
- Assist Property Managers in maintaining suite lists
- Review property stacking charts monthly to ensure accuracy
- Maintain lease comparable (lease comps) spreadsheet
- Monitor Costar to ensure accurate reporting for FW properties
Transaction Support:
- Schedule and participate in leasing meetings; take meeting notes and update internal trackers as needed
- Prepare and distribute weekly leasing reports
- Implement leasing and marketing programs including supervision of exclusive brokers on projects
- Review, approve and track leasing commissions
- Generate invoices for leasing commissions and leasing administrative fees when appropriate
- Manage listing agreements with all third-party brokerage firms
- Collaborate across multiple internal departments (property management, accounting, leasing, corporate) and work closely third-party brokerage teams
- Assist with special projects and provide ad-hoc support to Property Management, Leasing, Construction, Accounting and other corporate staff as needed
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2-3 years related experience in the real estate industry and hands-on experience in interpreting lease agreements.
- Minimally requires basic knowledge of commercial real estate leasing terms and financial principles.
- Thorough understanding of commercial real estate stacking plan concepts.
- Solid computer skills with proficiency in MRI Commercial Management Software (or a comparable package), and Microsoft Office Applications.
- Detail-oriented with solid analytical, problem-solving skills.
- Results-oriented with a desire to learn.
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to set priorities, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and achieve results as part of a team.
- Ability to effectively interface with all departments of the company in a highly professional manner.
- Strong written communication skills
- Involves work of a general office nature usually performed sitting such as operation of a computer.
COMPENSATION:
Commensurate with experience.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
