Agent Support Representative:
This position is customer focused and responsible for supporting our retail agents in the use of our on-line rating sites which includes submitting new business, binding coverage and submitting endorsements on multiple lines of transportation insurance nationwide. This position will be part of a team that makes outbound calls to agents, takes phone calls, and responds promptly to email requests from agents. Requires the ability to communicate and work with team members to efficiently and properly resolve issues or questions the retail agent may have. Also requires the ability to train retail agents and team members on the benefits and operation of our on-line rating system, insurance lines & products and business systems.

Assist team members with issues as needed in order to provide complete and timely service to the assigned agents. Keep all team members current on any software enhancements or updates and changes or additions to insurance products, carriers or business processes. Strive to build a high level of teamwork and cooperation between team members to support customers both external and internal.

Approach agent support with the full intent to provide superior quality of support with the maximum speed of response. Strive to build a reputation of providing the agent the most efficient path to placing business in the marketplace. Document conversations with agents through customer relationship management software to provide accountability and communication within the department.

Education and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required. College degree preferred, with some insurance, risk management, or finance focus.
A minimum of one year experience in a support position, preferably in the property/casualty insurance industry
Knowledge of appropriate office software including: Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
As a condition of continued employment, candidate must pass applicable insurance licensing exam and maintain license. Training will be provided.
Work Environment and Benefits:
· The hours of this position are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM.
· 401K included after 90 days with employer contribution.
· 100% employer paid Healthcare Insurance available on the first of the month following 30 days of hire.
· Dental Insurance available on the first of the month following 30 days of hire.
· Vision Insurance available on the first of the month following 30 days of hire.
