Position Summary & Job Description

The Leasing Specialist is responsible for the leasing of commercial space to prospective tenants. The person in this position works in a collaborative environment with Glazer Properties ownership, senior management, and multiple internal departments to achieve the leasing goals established for a given portfolio of commercial real estate properties. Specific responsibilities include:

• Establish, and maintain relationships with prospective tenants and brokers through phone and face-to-face discussions
• Initiate, negotiate, and finalize Offers, Proposals, and Lease Documents with prospective tenants and brokers
• Frequent in-person interaction with ownership and senior management
• Present prospective tenants and deals to ownership and senior management
• Understand and maintain market level information and trends
• Complete department specific reports as required
• Travel regularly to the markets where the properties are located
• Special projects as requested by ownership or senior management

Qualifications

• Bachelors’ degree required
• Sales mindset, experience and skills preferred
• Strong communication skills required; ability to verbally communicate with prospective tenants, brokers and ownership
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Individual must be highly motivated, a self-starter and able to work independently
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines at once
• Eagerness to accept additional responsibilities as assigned
