Our insurance agency is looking for an exceptional insurance Customer Service Agent to join our team. At Allen Insurance Inc we pride ourselves on our outstanding insurance products and customer service. We are currently seeking to fulfill a full-time position. Our customer service agent will be responsible for answering multiple phone lines, providing exceptional customer service to our current clients and new prospects, processing policy change requests, processing insurance payments, maintaining knowledge of our products, answering any questions our clients may have, as well as issuing new policies.

Salary Range: $40000.00 - $65000.00 per year

Paid sick and vacation time offered

Have the option of adding to our group Health and vision plans

No weekends. Hours are M-F 8:30am-5:30pm

Hourly pay plus sales bonuses

• Inform and educate clients about coverage, exclusions, and exposures while documenting electronic files appropriately
• Complete a variety of day-to-day client service transactions, including policy endorsements, certificates, binders, cancellations or other necessary tasks accurately and on time.
• Create insurance quotes and close sales.
• Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
• Process client policy change requests.
• Immediately greet all customers, entering the office, in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Provides on-going support to insurance clients as needed.
• Handle incoming claim calls from customers.
• Complete Evidence of Insurance requests.
• Document each customer contact in client management system.
• Return all phone messages promptly.
• Share training and education knowledge and expertise with team members.
• Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of new products.
• Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.
• Generating insurance quotes.
• Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.
• Presents and explains insurance policy options based upon prospective client needs and their personal goals.
• Responds to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within a specified timeframe.
• Stay up-to-date on industry market trends and best practices
• Assess and identify the wants and needs of your customer(s)
• Educate clients on the insurance policies that best suit their needs
• Provide policies to new clients and explain benefits/risks of the policy

• TN Property & Casualty license
• TN Life license preferred, but will allow obtaining after hire
