Job Description Summary
We are seeking a high energy, self-starter, independent thinker, and team player to join our sales team who loves bringing disruptive, advanced risk mitigation solutions to residential rental marketplace and wants to be part of a growing, evolving team.
What You’ll Do (Functions & Responsibilities)
- Identify, build, and close opportunities in sales pipeline
- Responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and annual achievement of individual revenue quotas
- Responsible for working collaboratively with all cross-functional departments to support the achievement of overall business objectives
- Create, develop, and implement effective account strategies to achieve sales quotas
- Develop and close sales opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting and diligent follow-up
- Deliver a high volume of outbound prospecting to build opportunity pipelines for all product lines
- Acquire new customers from individual efforts, marketing campaigns, partnerships, and events
- Effectively deliver compelling sales presentations or demos
- Master the ability to communicate program value and sell it to new and existing clients by identifying business challenges and requirements
- Address prospects' and clients' challenges by presenting, demonstrating, and persuasively communicating the value of the solution
- Responsible for weekly reporting on sales activity and performance to sales leadership with detailed documentation in CRM
- Navigate key decision makers to build awareness within current and prospective industry organizations
- Actively participate in sales meetings and training sessions
- Develop comprehensive understanding of competitive landscape and how to differentiate / describe value of our solution
- Provide valuable feedback from prospects to identify blockers and anticipate future market needs
- Be a positive representative of the company and its brand in the marketplace
- Represent the company at industry-related trade shows and all company-sponsored events
What We’re Looking For (Minimum qualifications)
- 5+ years of outside sales experience
- Familiarity with the residential rental industry building on new and existing relationships
- Proven success in outside sales as a true hunter, exceeding your goals and expectations
- Detail-oriented, competitive, have a “can-do” attitude and consistently take the initiative to make things better for your clients and your team
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of e-commerce and practices and can speak to the value behind implementing various frontend software strategies across several channels
- Can grow into a thought leadership role in the residential rental industry
- Experience with CRM’s such as Salesforce, and the ability to learn our proprietary tools and technologies
- Hold a valid P&C insurance license
