JOB DESCRIPTION:

Leading commercial appliance manufacture seeks a Sales Associate to work within the Sales team. Self-motivated individual should be meticulously organized and a critical thinker. The Sales Associate works with customers across the globe on creating commercial dishwashing solutions for their respective facilities and will have the potential to grow within our company.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Prepare and distribute product and installation quotes for commercial, government and marine markets.

· Answer customer inquiries on form, fit and function for complete product line.

· Assist in converting quoted opportunities into sold projects; assisting team with order entry and processing.

· Follow up on open opportunities and assign activities and interaction notes via Sales Force.

· Communicate order status’s and shipping information across the company’s distribution channels

· Cold call leads and key accounts to qualify new sales opportunities

· Analyze existing customer base and new opportunities outside the commercial foodservice industry

· Review and prepare quotes for bid packages via various web-based bidding platforms.

· Assist with quality control and confirm order completion through the scheduling of shipments.

· Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

· Must have excellent customer service skills and be a strong communicator; written and verbal.

· Must be well organized, a problem solver and eager to learn new systems and processes.

· Must have an associates degree or better.

· Previous work experience in sales, engineering or mechanical systems preferred.

· Basis understanding of electrical systems, plumbing, gas and HVAC preferred.

· Read and understand mechanical drawings a plus.

· Microsoft office, SalesForce, Alere accounting system familiarity preferred.

· Previous commercial kitchen design, sales or service experience preferred.
