Now Hiring - Volcom, Inc. - Manufacturing Sales Planning Analyst in Costa Mesa, CA

We are looking for a Sales Planning Analyst to join our Finance Team! The Sales Planning Analyst will report directly to the Senior Director of Global FP&A and will work with the Sales Teams to develop and track progress toward revenue and margin targets for multiple channels and divisions within Liberated Brands.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Reporting and analyzing of sales trends across multiple sales channels, divisions, and brands; identifying risks and opportunities
  • Manage the region’s long-range Sales and Operations Plan (SOP)
  • Prepare and publish of weekly sales reports tracking progress toward Seasonal and Monthly revenue/margin targets
  • Support Sales Operations with short-term shipping estimates
• Constant communication with cross-functional teams to relay ongoing revenue plan changes and their impact on product division goals and initiatives
  • Work Closely with Sales Managers to develop, manage and execute a multidimensional, key account revenue and gross margin plan.
  • Manage relationships with key account buyers in support of their OTB planning and sell through success
• Support seasonal sales planning and buying activities
  • At various product lifecycle milestones, analyze key account sell-through and category productivity to strategically develop the revenue and margin plan
  • Ensure OTB alignment with the Planning team
  • Provide input to the financial planning process
• Complete additional planning tasks and ad hoc reporting as necessary

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or closely related field
• Strong quantitative analytical skills a must
• Professional experience in quantitative analysis (sales planning, finance, accounting, or related fields)
• Knowledge of forecasting/budgeting principles and practices
• Proven track record of working cross functionally to develop innovative solutions using advanced analytics
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills and proficiency in MS Office
• Familiarity of financial reporting systems
• Full Circle ERP experience a plus
• Organized, detail-oriented, accurate, thorough, and maintains accurate records
