Position Overview

You will be working with Hy-Vee Arena staff to rent Hy-Vee Arena to Event Organizers.

The Sales Executive is responsible for effectively guiding Event Organizers through the entire process of learning about Hy-Vee Arena to executing a successful event at Hy-Vee Arena.

• Effectively prepare and present quotes and proposals in a timely manner.
• Effectively collaborate with vendors and other departments to capture and service events.
• Attend site visits, give tours, attend pre-event planning meetings, and appropriate venue meetings as necessary to support the event experience.
• Understand event cost structure and incorporates this into established profitable guidelines.

Relationship Management

• Deliver World-Class Service by cultivating and maintaining relationships with Event Organizers, customers, venue personnel and various other supporting groups and departments.
• Thoroughly research and understand customer history and previous experiences, in order to create a more personalized relationship and experience.
• Value people by attending necessary meetings, understanding their goals and responding to their questions, concerns, and challenges.
• Maintain knowledge of all product/service offerings at Hy-Vee Arena that support all meetings and events.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year sales experience required
• Knowledge of event sales preferred
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Computer proficiency required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
