Weight Loss Specialist

Job Description:

As Med Spa Attendant it is your main goal to promote preventive healthcare and wellness for patients through our designated med spa programs. In this position you will use you outgoing and positive attitude to motivate and push patients to be the best they can be.

Job Duties:

• Providing health education to motivate patients to achieve weight loss goals.
• Motivate and promote other services for practice.
• Interview patients and document basic medical history
• Arrange laser or other med spa treatments
• Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
• Schedules follow ups requested by provider or patient

Education:

• Knowledge of clinic operations through educational training or experience preferred
• A minimum of one to three years of experience in sales or weight loss clinic setting.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Proven working experience as a weight loss technician or sales representative.
• Working knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures preferred.
• Has social perceptiveness and service oriented.
• Competent use of computer systems and EMR software preferred.
• Ability to work well in a team environment with also having the ability to work independently.
• Problem-solving skills to resolve any issues that arise in the clinic.
• A calm manner and patience working with patients.
• Maintaining patient confidentiality as per the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).
• Ability to multitask.
• Superb organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and react effectively to emergency situations.
• Passionate about clinical excellence.
