Seeking an experienced individual with a background in aviation/logistics/purchasing or customer service, willing to do a wide variety of tasks, who will ensure great quality service to our customers. Now is a good time to join our expanding team and grow your career.

What You’ll Be Doing

This position is the primary office contact for all orders (meaning: 8-4:30 M-F you are the first person to answer the phone and complete all customer orders, run credit card payments, and arrange shipping in/out for customers). You will be responsible for purchasing all inventory items, supplies and raw materials. Other office duties as assigned. Small office environment working directly with the GM and accountant must be willing to share tasks as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Others as assigned.

Customer service: Primary orders point of contact for the company, over the counter and on the phone. Resolve customer needs and answer questions regarding policies. Use of ERP program M1 to keep track of all orders and purchase orders. 4-5hrs per day Purchasing: Parts from suppliers, materials/supplies for manufacturing/repair work, and supplies for the office. 3-4hrs per week Receiving: Enter all parts and materials received into M1 and match them up with purchase orders/customer orders. 2-3hrs per week Shipping: Handle/package parts for shipping, get quotes, print labels. 1-3hrs per day Assist other positions as needed.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities.

• Knowledge of general aviation aircraft preferred.
• 5 years logistics/purchasing or aviation experience preferred.
• Able to pass a federal level background check/drug screening with no felonies, drug use, theft, or other disqualifying activity.
• Excellent customer service and phone skills.
• Active listening and asking good questions. You are the voice of the company that our customers and suppliers will hear most.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be willing to respond professionally to email traffic in a timely manner.
• Ability to track and schedule keeping ahead of production. Anticipate future problems and offer solutions ahead of time.
• Self-motivated and able to prioritize multiple taskings at once without falling behind.
• Computer Skills are required - to perform this job successfully, an individual must be computer literate, able to learn new programs quickly, and type 30+ wpm.
• Programs you should already know: Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe. M1 preferred.
