Our client is looking for a sales pro with a background in custom injection molded (or contract molded) product sales. We are looking for someone who has a strong technical understanding of the molding process. We are looking for someone who can meet with clients and discuss materials, tooling, cavitation, runners, venting, warpage concerns, etc., and has an understanding of how all of these things work together (or maybe won’t work) to make good products.
Their products are truly custom and can be sold into consumer product andindustrial applications such as Construction, Window/Door, Appliance, Display, Agriculture, Consumer Products, Sporting Goods, Furniture or other durable products industries.
The primary purpose of this position is to grow the sales for this organization through the development of new customers and by growing business with existing customers. You’ll accomplish this by creating technical presentations, and developing clientele that can use the products that our client manufactures.
This is a very independent role, and as the only sales person, you will create quotes for new projects as well as annual budgets.

REGIONAL SALES MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4 years experience in custom molded or contract molded products
- Technical understanding of practical applications of injection molded products, understanding of tooling, runners, gates, vents, materials, cavitation (vs. volume), tonnage, etc.
- 3 years of proven ability to successfully develop new clientele and grow sales in a custom-product environment; selling custom solutions as opposed to selling stock products.
- 3 years experience in a commissioned sales position, with a “hunter” mentality, and confidence in the ability to earn a significant portion of their wages in the form of commission.
- Likable, driven, relentless sales personality and the proven ability to proficiently analyze, prepare presentations, and close multi-million dollar growth opportunities.
- Willingness to travel to prospective customers.
- Ability to prepare and deliver technical presentations that clearly demonstrate competitive advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
