Full description of the position

We are looking for a Sales Representative with a background in the automotive industry to join our team.

The Sales Representative will attract and connect with new customers by generating leads, focusing on guiding prospects and customers through the decision-making process, ensuring a real value proposition acting as a trusted advisor, providing long term solutions, and acting as exceptional support. You will own the client relationship and collaborate with our internal teams (marketing, sourcing, operations, finances) to ensure the best way to solve our customers' logistics challenges in order to build loyalty and partnership.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and attracting new sales opportunities, and understanding the needs of prospective and existing customers, aligning with company strategy
  • Facilitating presentations with strategic clients
  • Build and manage a pipeline for the sales executives and follow up accordingly
  • Proactively consult with leads to understand their logistics needs
  • Act as a trusted advisor and main point of contact for customers to assist them with the decision-making process, and educating them on the services we offer, offering technological solutions in line with clients needs and current capabilities of the organization
  • Work in collaboration with other departments to ensure offerings are as competitive and fair as possible, providing regular feedback to team members
  • Create quotes and bid proposals and present them to prospective customers, ensuring records are maintained and accurate
  • RFQ analysis and completion along with the team in a timely manner
  • Regular travel and required attendance at industry events is required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Commerce, Logistics or another related field
  • Passion for sales and personal growth
  • Proficient with Office 365
  • Experience with critical freights, CRM (Salesforce), and OTR, are considered assets
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, operations, or sourcing with a passion for sales
