Summary:
The Account Executive, Sponsorship position will be responsible for generating business revenue through prospecting and developing new and current partnerships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Research, prospect, and establish leads with local, regional, and national businesses through networking, use of third-party lead services, and cold calls.
- Establish relationships with clients and develop solutions to meet their marketing needs
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations using Digideck and other resources
- Cultivate new and existing corporate partner relationships through outstanding customer service to drive revenue.
- Work games nights and other Woodpeckers functions as assigned to network and build client relationships
- Achieve established sales goals as set by supervisor.
- Work closely with Sponsorship Coordinator on creating sponsorship agreements
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Bachelors’ degree in Business, Sport Management, or related field and/or equivalent experience is preferred.
- 1+ years’ experience in sales and/or customer service with proven ability to meet sales goals preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent oral communication, customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and sales driven.
- Strong attention to detail and promptness.
- Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines.
- High degree of discretion, integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
- Strong ability and desire to work with others in a collaborative, respectful manner.
Work Environment:
Position will work in an office and stadium environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The noise level is usually moderate but can be loud within the stadium environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee occasionally is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Due to the nature of this position, the position requires hours of work and days that include frequent nights, weekends and holiday. This includes attendance at all home baseball games.
Travel:
Limited travel is expected for this position.
