Our location in Riverside, CA/San Bernardino, CA/Las Vegas, NV currently has an opportunity for a Pediatric Specialty Sales Representative.


The Pediatric Specialty Sales Representative in Therapeutic Nutrition Sales is responsible for the promotion, management and growth of Abbott Nutrition products in hospitals and office settings. Specific emphasis will be on Children’ s Hospitals, Pediatric Gastroenterologists, Pediatric Allergists and Pediatricians with a focus on leading specialized nutrition brands such as ELECARE, PEDIASURE PEPTIDE & PEDIASURE.


Territory:
The ideal candidate will be based in Riverside, San Bernardino, or Las Vegas.

  • Northern Most Point: Las Vegas, NV
  • Western Most Point: Pasadena, CA
  • Southern Most Point: Murrieta, CA
  • Easter Most Point: Indio, CA
  • Travel: 25-30% with 3-4 overnight stays a month

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Full ownership of hospital and office accounts
  • Executing strategic sales initiatives designed to exceed established sales goals
  • Work closely with District Manager and cross-functional / interdisciplinary teams to execute the strategic account plan
  • Deliver clinical and scientific benefits and information in a sales environment by comprehensive knowledge of all products, clinical studies, protocols and guidelines
  • Work effectively with Clinical Nutrition Managers, Discharge Planners, Dietitians, HMEs and Physicians
  • Prioritize the utilization of resources to drive return on investment
  • Plan and organize to maximize focus on top priorities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

Required

  • Strategic account planning experience
  • Excellent oral communication skills

  • Clinical/Healthcare experience (RD/RN) strongly encouraged

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Selling experience across a wide range of Health Care Practitioners in Hospital Setting and Office environment.
  • Strong Business acumen demonstrated through solid understanding of the healthcare landscape.
