POSITION

We are currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager with a proven sales background, and exceptionally customer service skills. This professional will preferably have a background in transportation and/or logistics and will be responsible for the full sales cycle process with both existing and new potential customers. This will include viable lead generation, presentations, negotiation, closing deals, and on-going follow through with both the customer and our internal team to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Generate sales leads through independently growing existing customer accounts as well as identifying and closing new accounts
• Create effective sales strategies by gathering market intel to identify and capitalizing on new opportunities
• Build a pipeline of targets by prospecting for business through a variety of activities, including prospecting over the phone, web meetings, and in-person sales visits to uncover and develop new business
• Clear and consistent communication with internal teams so everyone understands all customer expectations
• Collaborate with our operations team to anticipate and facilitate problem resolution on all service issues to meet, or exceed customer satisfaction
• Participate in industry events.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor degree preferred in business, marketing, or similar field with ideally 5-10 years of work experience, including a minimum of 3 years in sales.
• Transportation and/or Logistics Industry Experience.
• Preferably a background combination in Operations and Sales
• Strong people skills, ability to develop and nurture customer relationships
• Willing to travel, as being on the road visiting customers is essential to the success of this role
• Must be self motivated and focused on delivering results

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
