About us

Our client is a leader in the industry who has been operating in the above-ground pool market since 1982 and operates in multiple markets across the country from Texas to Northern Florida, to Ohio etc.... They are a one stop shop; they sell the swimming, install the swimming pools and provide in-house financing to help pay for the swimming pools.

About the job

Our client is currently hiring to fill open sales representative positions which are available in their company. Our client does all of their advertising on TV and on the Internet; so what this would mean for you is that you would not be required to do any

• cold calling,
• no telemarketing.
• no door to door,
• no mail-out sales.

All you would have to do is attend pre-scheduled appointments at the customers house and show them a 90-minute presentation of Blue World Pools products. There are three things you will never do working with Blue World Pools:

• 1) you will never speak to someone who doesn't want to buy a pool; this is because our customers initiate contact with us when they see our commercial or advertisement ad they actually request that a sales representative be sent to their house to show them the presentation.
• 2) You will never speak to someone who cannot afford a pool; this is because we pre-approve all of our customers for an in-house loan before we send the sales representative to their house. Therefore, everyone you speak to will be interested in buying a swimming pool, and will have the financial means of purchasing a swimming pool.
• 3) you will never go to a customers home when they are not there; this is because you are given the customers name, phone number, and address the day before the appointment so that you may call them the day of the appointment to make sure that they will be at home for the appointment; so you will not be wasting your time driving out to a customers house when they are not home. I'm sure that you can appreciate this.

Because of these things which I have just mentioned, our sales representatives are able to

• earn $2500-$3500 per week in commission
• they get paid $25 per appointment which they attend. SO even if they do not make a sale, they will still get paid at least $25 for driving out to the customers house and showing them the 90-minute presentation.

Aside from this our sales representatives also get paid seasonal bonuses which are paid at the end of the pool season on August 15th. Our sales representatives get paid $100 for every pool they sold that season that was paid for with financing and they get $150 for every pool they sold that season that was paid for with cash; so, if over the course of the season, a sales representative happened to sell 100 swimming pools, they would get a seasonal bonus of about $10,000 to $15,000 which is paid to them on one big check at the end of the season. Some sales representatives sell more than 100 pools in a season and get bigger bonuses than this, and some sells representatives sell less than 100 pools in a season and get smaller bonuses; it all depends on many pools you are able to sell during the season, which is largely dependent upon the amount of sales experience which you have.

Our sales representatives

• attend 2-3 appointments per day on average,
• 6 days a week,
• have about 11-14 appointments per week,
• have a closing percentage of 40%-50%,
• they sell about 5-6 pools per week on average
• and earn about $600-$700 per sale.

Sales representatives who have previous sales experience tend to have a closing percentage which is higher than 40%-50%, and they earn more than $2500-$3500 per week; But of course if you want to make money you have to attend the appointments which are pre-scheduled.

Requirments

In order to qualify for this position you must be willing to

• attend a 21/2 day training class
• have reliable transportation,
• a driver's license,
• a social security card,
• have proof of auto insurance
• have a smartphone.
• You must also be willing to cover your entire market area which is the city in which you live in about a 2 hour radius and
• you must be willing to commit to a full time schedule, working 6 days a week; although if you have good sales experience, an exception can be made so that you only have to work 5 days per week..

Lastly, if you live more than 50 miles away from the training location, our client will pay for your hotel room for the duration of the training class, which is 2 1/2 days and will provide breakfast for you at the hotel you will be staying in, where the training class is being held, in the conference room of the hotel. Lunch and dinner will be your responsibility.
