Job Description:
Reporting to the Energy & Transportation (E&T) and Services, Distribution & Digital (SD&D) Global Indirect Procurement Manager, this Regional Relationship Procurement Manager will support the US based E&T facilities to achieve their goals and effectively manage their indirect spend and supply base. This individual will build strategic relationships throughout the US E&T facilities to clearly understand their indirect requirements and initiatives. Acting as the lead relationship manager for these customers and facilities, this individual will also coordinate with the regional category management teams and the Indirect Procurement Center of Excellence to develop and champion the regional category strategies that deliver optimal business value to the E&T vertical and overall enterprise. This individual along with their team of local buyers will support all E&T facilities from source to contract, and ultimately manage the indirect supply base performance.
This individual will collaborate with your Indirect Procurement business customers to realize maximum savings and business value as measured through Operating Profit After Capital Charge (OPACC) improvement and exceptional performance of strategic and critical indirect suppliers. You will use business acumen and fact-based influencing skills to deliver responsive and high value support to your vertical customers and embed consistent, automated, and efficient source-to-pay processes and enabling technologies.

Budget: $1.8 - $2.2 M

Job duties:
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Assist Global Procurement Manager in developing, implementing, and communicating the division-wide Global Finance Services and Indirect Procurement strategies
Maintain the ability to adapt in a timely fashion to a changing business climate to successfully execute to a diverse range of enterprise initiatives
Own the customer relationship management and cross organizational alignment with the category teams for all their facilities
Understand customer needs to insure the most value-added relationships
Develop, mentor, and train personnel capable of delivering customer value using the highest ethical and professional standards
Drive compliance to corporate and regional laws and regulations
Basic Requirements:
Previous procurement experience
Bachelor’s degree
A minimum of eight to ten years of progressively responsible job-related experience
Extensive experience and knowledge of governmental, environmental, political, and geographic factors that influence a supply base
Communication and negotiation skills
Top Candidate Will Also Have:
3-5+ years as a manager of individual contributors
Manufacturing facility operations knowledge and understanding is preferred
Experience in other disciplines
