Mosquito & Pest Authority is the industry leader when it comes to indoor and outdoor pest control, and we are looking for a dynamic Sales Professional to join our team!
We are currently searching for an Outside Pest Control Sales Representative with a hunter mentality and desire to control their own financial earnings potential. This position will be based in our Richmond, Virginia office and offers the selected candidate various opportunities for growth and development, full comprehensive training, unlimited earning potential and the most advanced technology and tools for him/her to be successful.
What Will You Do Day-to-Day?
- Schedule appointments and/or follow up with pre-arranged appointments and meet with existing and potential customers in their homes to explain Mosquito & Pest Authority's products and services
- Conduct a thorough inspection of the interior and exterior areas of potential customer’s property to diagnose any issues (often includes getting in attics and crawl spaces).
- Serve as a problem solver for customers by utilizing the in-depth training provided to decide on the best overall solution for each customer's needs
- Documenting descriptions of property and recording accurate measurements of areas inspected
- Complete proper paperwork to begin service for the customer utilizing your company provided iPad for thoroughness, speed and accuracy
- Estimating job costs and preparing Service Plan recommendations
- Make sales presentations to customers based on the findings from inspections and address any questions, explain the treatment process and set the right expectations for the customer
- Contacting customers after service is performed to ensure satisfaction and quality of service
- Achieve sales performance objectives through assigned leads and new business development
What Do You Need to Be Successful?
- You can effectively present information to customers one-on-one and in small groups
- You have a good aptitude for basic math- necessary for doing calculations related to the sales process
- You must be comfortable working outside and in confined spaces like crawl spaces and attics
- Able to work a flexible schedule (including occasional weekend hours when necessary)
Requirements:
- Strong Communication Skills
- Must be competitive and driven to succeed
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- Sales experience
- Experienced in delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
- Must have computer skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office (particularly MS Excel) and Google platforms
- Extremely detailed oriented and highly organized
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as required to meet weekly responsibilities, including occasional weekend hours
- Assist in executing marketing initiatives (attends and helps at trade shows and special events when needed
