Government Sales Manager
Job Type: Full-Time Salaried Position Plus Commission
Location: DC, Richmond, or Virginia Beach
Studio Center, one of the busiest and most respected content creation studios in the country, is actively seeking an experienced and highly motivated Government Sales Manager to develop new GSA/Federal Government business across the United States.
As Studio Center’s Government Sales Manager, you will research and manage all government bids, solicitations, unsolicited proposals, and quotations for federal, state, and local government.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Research, lead identification, bid organization, and management of the bid process and contract administration
- Develop DEEP relationships with government acquisition personnel and buyers
- Creation and maintenance of proposal and contract documents relative to government/GSA schedule, projects, and contracts; including preparation of responses to solicitations in the form of proposals and quotations
- Management of the government business opportunity pipeline and tracking the status of proposal development with internal teams to ensure submittal deadlines are met

Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of direct experience with government contracting
- Existing relationships in the Government arena, as well as a strong track record of new business development
- Understanding of government and GSA contracting including account structures, procurement processes, RFPs, and standard bid requests
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently
- Military Experience and Relationships a HUGE Plus
