INSIDE SALES

JOB SUMMARY:
Advantech Industries Inc. is looking for a self-starter to join our team that is eager to grow our current markets. Under the direct supervision of the Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Representative is responsible for business-to-business lead generation and sales prospecting. This is a Full-Time position, Monday-Friday.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Primarily using the internet, prospects for new business by researching companies in need of service in CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding and assembly
  • Familiar with using LinkedIn and other forms of social media
  • CRM maintenance
  • Cold calls
  • Meet customers
  • Schedule customer tours
  • Coordinate customer required documentation
  • Administrative Functions
  • Receiving incoming sales calls
  • Sending out and responding to emails

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Holds oneself accountable for doing whatever is needed to meet the commitments made around project outcomes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directives
  • Solid computer, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Must be comfortable with cold calls and lead generating
  • Ability to work well under pressure, to adhere to deadlines and the ability to be flexible
  • Maintains organizational files and records
  • May receive and screen office visitors and telephone calls
  • Ability to operate software programs such as Epicor, Microsoft Office and use the internet
  • Maintains professional appearance and demeanor
