Full description of the position

Overview:
Lead the development, integration and implementation of change management plans that improve employee engagement for a fortune 200 company with some of the most iconic brands! Have a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Change Management, Behavior Economics, Communications, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field? Have five years’ experience in Change Management? If so, we want to speak with you!

We are seeking a Manager, Organizational Change Management to join our team in Richmond, VA, or we are open to remote work arrangements.

In this role, you will set the change management plan to improve adoption and usage of enterprise Quality, Regulatory, and Product Development-related business processes, and systems. You will focus on the people side of the change and play a key role in implementing change across the impacted Altria subsidiaries.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead the development, integration and implementation of change management plans that improve employee engagement, adoption and usage of tools and resources.
  • Manage execution of assigned change management activities to drive faster adoption and lasting change.
  • Lead and monitor change adoption by identifying success metrics and developing ways to measure against those metrics.
  • Evaluate stakeholder and user readiness, desired project results, potential resistance, and performance gaps to facilitate change from ‘current state’ to ‘desired state’.
  • Conduct change impact assessments, develop tailored readiness strategies, and execute with a high degree of partnership across teams.
  • Handle change communication plans to effectively build awareness and support for the change.
  • Support training efforts by providing input and supporting the design and delivery of training programs.

What we want you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Change Management, Behavior Economics, Communications, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 8 years of relevant work experience with 5+ years' experience in a role with change management responsibilities.
  • Knowledge and successful implementation of change management principles, methodologies tools, and industry trends.
  • Experience as a project manager and familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross functional environment with business partners across different levels and areas of responsibility.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
  • Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across all levels of leadership.
  • Demonstrate adaptability to handle uncertainty and ambiguous situations.
  • Demonstrate creativity with original ideas/solutions on increasing adoption and usage of business processes and systems.
  • Proficiency in analytics and in using survey and spreadsheet software.
  • Familiarity with training development software is preferred.
  • Experience with large scale change is preferred.
  • PROSCI Change Management Certification or equivalent is preferred.
