Hotsy of Southern California is a distributor of industrial equipment. We sell and service industrial cleaning equipment: pressure washers, parts washers, waste water treatment systems, detergent, disinfectant and parts.

We have an opening for a Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative in our Riverside office. This person handles a high volume of incoming customer calls, walk-in customers and must have the ability to multi-task to input the incoming sales orders concurrently. The Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative must be able to learn and have a good knowledge of the equipment and product lines to convey the appropriate information to the customer and will function as the primary contact between Hotsy of Southern California and our customers. The Customer Service/Inside Sales position will build relationships with and resolve the problems of new and existing customers with the end goal of building the brand and increasing vertical use of our product line. This position supports customers from the initial inquiry to delivery of orders. You will assist walk-in customers with part purchases and receiving in their equipment for repair. Mechanical and technical aptitude is required. Cross-selling the customer base and tele-prospecting new customers to achieve revenue goals is required. Experience with Quickbooks Enterprise, PipeDrive and Field Service Management software is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Answer Customer Service calls.
• Interface with customers; answer questions and provide information on products.
• Be able to read and interpret mechanical equipment schematics
• Using equipment schematics, locate and recommend parts needed
• Make technical and mechanical recommendations to customer
• Create customer quotations for parts and equipment.
• Input new orders and follow order progress through to delivery.
• Coordinate with other Departments the timely receipt of incoming product for Customer’s orders and delivery of that product to customer.
• Inform customers and company personnel of order status and request changes, when needed.
• Interact with sales and technical personnel to ensure that customers’ needs are met.
• Problem-solve customer issues, research problems and interface with manufacturer’s personnel.
• Respond to customer requests, resolving issues and promoting the brand.
• Work with vendors to source product needed by customers
• Resolve billing issues between customers and accounts receivable.
• Deliver call scripts with an authentic cadence; be clear, compelling and personable.
• Be professional and establish customer rapport, encouraging repeat business.
• Participate in training to boost booked calls and practice outbound calling.
• Maintain and update customer database with complete and accurate information.
• Cold-call prospects that are generated by external sources of lead
• Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert into sales
• Assist in scheduling delivery and pick-up of equipment with customers
• Record and update database CRM details for every inquiry
• Maintaining contract files and customer correspondence
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

3 years of customer service/inside sales experience which includes researching and resolving problems, preferably in a high-volume call center.

• IT competent; good typist and proficient with phone systems.
• Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.

• Industry Experience a plus
• Ability to operate a forklift (will train)
• Ability to lift/move 50 pounds
