Job Requirements
Work experience in a sales capacity, demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals and achieve sales goals, success in qualifying opportunities, strong knowledge of sales principals, methods, practices, and techniques, resolution skills, strong written communication skills, verbal skills, and presentation skills, Microsoft office skills, self motivated, high energy, engaging, math skills, some travel may be required, individual and team oriented, high level of integrity and work ethic, ability to learn customer relationship management software
Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Intercept and respond to incoming RFPs and inbound leads/invitations
- Perform lead qualification function, such as gathering complete contact information and scope of work, confirming it meets Darwin's capabilities
- Penetrate all targeted accounts and radiate sales from within client base
- Accurately log assigned incoming leads/RFPs in project management application
- Analyze documents, drawings, and other customer requirements to gain a thorough understanding of the project
- Collaborate with customer and associated teams such as engineers, contractors, and architects
- Properly and accurately input relevant project information in accounting/bid software
- Gather, manage, and record cost quotations from vendors as needed
- Prepare material and labor cost estimates in collaboration with engineering team
- Present prepared estimates to main contacts and other stakeholders, emphasizing product features and benefits, pricing, discussing payment terms, etc
- Accurately log all submitted bids in CRM application
- Follow-up on submitted bids for updates, expected award dates, and outcome
- Develop and maintain relationships with company vendors and contractors
- Assist leadership in project forecasting and meeting assigned sales goals
- Work closely with internal departments such as engineering and project management teams as necessary
- Overall management of multiple projects simultaneously
- Overall management of multiple tasks and/or priorities and easily adapt to changing circumstances and situations
- Make outbound follow-up calls to existing clients, cross-sell and up-sell
- Maintain/contribute to contractor/vendor registrations and listings
- Update manager by sending weekly reports of all activity above, if requested
- Develop marketing materials and assist with implementation of strategies, if requested
- Support outreach/marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, etc.
Primary Objectives:
- Achieve gross revenue goals per financial projections
- Ensure achievement of gross and net profit margins per financial projections
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
