Full description of the position

About EBD:

EBD, a leader in demolition and abatement for 35 years, is looking for an experienced concrete cutting and removal (CC&R™) salesman to cover the Rochester area. Any candidate must have experience in the construction field. Specialized experience in demolition or concrete cutting is a big plus. Much of our work is referral so this is not a 100% cold calling position, but some is required. We are 1 of a very few competitors, so our hit rates are high. The environment is fast-paced, interesting and every job is just a little bit different.

Job duties include:

· Working with the EBD Client Relationship Management (CRM) system and business development team to research, contact, and track potential clients.

· Reviewing online project databases (construct connect) to find viable potential projects to bid on.

· Going to client locations and project sites to look at potential jobs. This involves taking photos, measurements, and notes to transfer knowledge to field staff if the job is obtained.

· Use Microsoft Excel, E-takeoff, and proposal software to calculate estimates and generate proposals.

· Follow-up on proposals that are sent and update the status of the associated project in the CRM system.

· Obtain signed contracts or POs and at that point start the project delivery process by turning the job over to operations.

· Meet proposal and sales goals that management sets for each period.

Required Skills/Prerequisites:

· Clean driver's license

· Phone and in-person meeting skills

· MS Excel

· Blueprint reading

· Ability to clearly and concisely word proposals and scopes of work.

· Drive to achieve sales goals

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $68,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
