Ten-thousand baby boomers become senior citizens, every 24 hours. No other life event is as devastating to an elderly person’s lifestyle, independence and finances as needing help from the outside. Age In Place Sacramento is a highly niched chronic illness management and healthcare staffing firm.

There is a story behind this ad. Once upon a time, there was a great nurse who started her career in a nursing home. After a few years, she transferred to other areas of health care all the way to case management. One thing stuck with her and that was the fact that, it is hard to find consistent and good care in geriatrics.

She also found that at the nursing home, there are good aides, med techs, RNAs and nurses and they could really enjoy their job if they had support, great pay and great benefits. At the same time, she discovered that they are patients who need great rehabilitation and therapy but would rather rehab at home than go to the nursing home so she decided to establish a very unique service to give those good aides, med techs, RNAs and nurses amazing jobs and the geriatric patients great care where ever they want to be; at home or in the rehabilitation facility.

This person is an allied health professional or a nurse that has the credentials, knowledge, skills, passion for education, genuine interest in patient outcomes and life experiences as the most valuable assets.

This person will manage the overall ongoing functioning of the agency, human resource coordination, provides professional growth & development of staff, ensures the delivery of quality client care, ensures compliance with regulatory and accrediting standards.

Because of the unique nature of our clientele and our commitment to continuous improvement, there are continuing education expectations and ongoing training is available to you during your service in this role.

Fifty to seventy-five percent of this job is in the office and twenty-five to fifty percent of this job require supervising and oversight in the facilities or homes of our seniors.

You will report to the General Manager and the CEO.
