Full description of the position

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in commercial lines insurance sales. This role interacts with prospects, clients, insurance carriers and internal Bene-Care employees, while conducting specific sales activities. The P&C Sales Consultant must have exceptional organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations to secure new business and maintain existing client base
• Identify, qualify, and develop commercial insurance opportunities with new and existing clients
• Quote and sell multiple lines of business to clients
• Maintain excellent relationships by providing exceptional customer service to clients, prospects and carriers
• Actively network and plan for new clients and business opportunities
• Support and prepare clients for renewal and retention
• Monitor, review, and report on key metrics to ensure sales targets are achieved

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain Property & Casualty Insurance License (existing license preferred)
• 5+ years experience in a sales position preferred
• AMS360 Experience required
• Familiarity with Carriers included, but not limited to: AmWins, Hartford, AmTrust, Merchants, Chubb, Dryden, Main Street America
• Motivated and team-player personality
