Desperate Measures Firearms

Position: RETAIL SALES/DROS/4473 PROCESSOR

Desperate Measures Firearms is a new and growing company which is interested in finding quality individuals to grow its Riverside store. This store primarily services the local community in the sale of firearms, ammunition, optics, and firearm accessories to local consumers as well as our law enforcement and military. Conveniently located across from the National Cemetery near March Air Force Base Reserve, and the Ben Clark Training Facility in Riverside, CA.

We are currently accepting applications for a RETAIL SALES/DROS/4473 PROCESSOR. The position will have previous experience with Firearm (DROS) transfers, knowledge of firearms, firearm safety, firearms accessories, and merchandising of inventory.

This position is an hourly, non-exempt position.

Position responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Performing customer sales and service.

· Knowledgeable of both State (California DOJ) and ATF (Federal) regulations and policies in connection with the sale and transfer of firearms.

· Merchandising and setting promotional signage.

· Customer service through telephone calls.

· Learning and providing product descriptions.

· Proposing add-on sales, and other duties as assigned.

· Check and retrieve merchandise from storage areas.

· Organize, restock, and clean merchandise.

· Inventory control.

· Inventory control and enforcement of loss prevention policies

Requirements:

· All hires must be 21 years of age or older.

· Must possess High School diploma, GED, High School Equivalency.

· Must possess basic organizational and/or applicable math skills.

· Upon accepting an offered position, candidate will be subject to a DOJ LiveScan (fingerprint) background check.

· COE (Certificate of Eligibility) issued by the DOJ in order to sell, merchandise, and transfer firearms and ammunition.

· Moderate to heavy lifting may be required, with or without reasonable accommodation.

· Must possess effective and demonstrable interactive and communicative skills.

· Flexible Scheduling and Ability to work well with others.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Shift:

• 8 hour shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Riverside, CA 92518: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Firearms Sales/DROS: 3 years (Required)
