Business Development Associate

JK Executive Strategies has partnered with REV LNG, LLC located in Victor, NY, in search of a Business Development Associate to join its team. REV is a full-service supplier of Liquified Natural Gas, Compressed Natural Gas, and Renewable Natural Gas. They provide energy solutions for industries ranging from marine to industrial to power generation. REV has been recognized for its commitment to utilizing clean fuels by the State of Pennsylvania by receiving the Governor’s Award as well as the Penn State Marcellus Center Innovation Award!
The Business Development Associate at REV is responsible for Lead Origination and Revenue Creation through project sales and development. This position works primarily with Utility and Industrial customers to provide LNG and CNG Supply as well as Virtual Pipeline Services. The right candidate will work at headquarters in Victor, NY or remotely if located within a strategic sales territory.

Responsibilities:
- Work with the Business Development team to create, lead, and implement business development and marketing plans.
- Work with department leaders to develop client acquisition strategies.
- Track client development activities and new BD efforts.
- Serve as a project manager throughout the process, including initiating a discussion, leading the development of the proposal independently or in conjunction with the Marketing, and overseeing collaboration on all activities and assignments associated with the opportunity.
- Conduct market analysis, industry, and competitive intelligence research reports for business development opportunities.
- Develop agendas and BD/marketing priorities.
- Serve as a front-line associate to generate projects and serve as a project manager from conception to follow-through to ensure efficiency and quality.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years’ experience in energy industry commercial sales, with a strong preference for natural gas sales experience.
- Sales, marketing & business development skills.
- Specific LNG and CNG knowledge and sales experience are required.
- Existing Utility and Industrial customer relationships preferred.
- Ability to understand commodity pricing and complex index pricing structures.
- General knowledge of Truck Transportation Logistics.
- Database maintenance/contributions.
- Proposal creation and effective communication skills.
- High competency with all Microsoft Suite products.
