Our family-owned restaurant and janitorial supply company is looking for our next Outside Sales/Account Manager. If you are a proactive, confident self-starter who thrives in competitive situations, please apply.

We will provide you with the tools and freedom to be successful in this position. This position has a great earning potential as it is salary plus commission.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new business from restaurants, bars or facilities to supply restaurant and janitorial products
• Generate/enter sales orders and ensure that orders are fulfilled
• Frequently visit with prospects and customers to earn and retain their business and keep them loyal to our company
• Cultivate and manage client relationships
• Utilize sales reports and other data to recognize sales opportunities in customer buying patterns
• Follow up with customers and provide solutions, should a service concern arise
• Recognize and communicate local market conditions and competition information to develop an overall sales strategy
• Manage and maintain contacts with established customers and source new business through both consultative and relationship selling techniques
• Prospect new clients through LinkedIn, networking and attending industry-related events

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree is preferred
• B2B sales experience
• Knowledge of Quickbooks and Microsoft Office applications
• Experience using and maintaining a CRM system
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills
• Confidence and motivation to work toward targets
• Experience in the restaurant and/or janitorial supply industry is highly desirable
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work well alone or within a team
• Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving
• Resilience to deal with customers who turn you down

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
