Career Start is currently seeking a Software Sales Manager for a construction software company based in Rochester, NY. To be considered for this Software Sales Manager position, candidates must have 5 years of experience in sales and account management within the software and/or construction industry. The Software Sales Manager will be responsible for the full sales lifecycle of existing customers to ensure renewals and drive growth.

Responsibilities of the Software Sales Manager:

• Be an industry and product expert to communicate value (features, training, support) to subscribers to drive retention.
• Own the entire post-sales experience including renewals, up-sells, and strategic account management.
• Conduct regular business reviews and leverage internal data to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
• Work with internal subject matter experts to resolve problems

Requirements of the Software Sales Manager:

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction and or/software
• Customer-first mindset
• Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
• Strong computer skills including logging details in the CRM
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
