Job Description


We are looking for a Sales Coach to inspire, influence and effectively mentor our salespeople of varying performances to elevate overall team achievements.

Sales Coach responsibilities include mentoring salespeople, designing individual and team training strategies, and preparing educational material. To be successful in this role, you need to demonstrate a good understanding of sales techniques, the ability to motivate sellers of varying seniority, and the drive toward mutual success.

  • Act as a consultant to salespeople and provide helpful advice on coping with job-related challenges
  • Through coaching, Identify individual and team training needs
  • Offer a Reassuring coaching style to continuous call and appointment shadowing
  • Evaluate employees’ performance after each coaching session and interaction
  • Observe teams, collect, and interpret strategies on the effectiveness of training techniques/content; share observations and feedback on the efficacy of training techniques
  • Demonstrate the ability to empower learners with unique learning styles and personalities
  • Establish and effectively manage one-on-one interactions, training, and reviews with salespeople to maximize performance – be accessible to salespeople to maximize their performance
  • Develop educational material, including presentations, sales scripts, and case studies
  • Design training courses and resources using role-playing activities
  • Gather feedback on all training programs from Xplorer
  • Collaborate with leaders to identify, drive and measure key company sales training initiatives to meet the sales channels goals
  • Maintain updated records of educational curriculum and material
  • Onboard and train new and tenured salespeople

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2+ years of sales and/or sales management experience and/or coaching
  • 2 + years designing, developing, and personally delivering face-to-face or virtual sales training
  • Sales experience and product knowledge in the merchant services industry, a plus
  • Coaching and facilitation experience with groups of sellers
  • Aptitude to learn quickly and summarize complex ideas in a coaching environment
  • Familiar with 30/60/90-day sales onboarding programs in high growth, fast-paced environment
  • Experience in outbound call selling with six-figure deals and/or small-mid-size businesses
  • Creative problem-solving skills, strategic planning, and thinking
  • Demonstrates sales acumen through empathetic and passionate coaching
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • PowerPoint, Word, and Excel experience required
  • Ability to analyze contact effectiveness to improve sales metrics
  • Be a team player in working cross-functionally towards common goals
