Full description of the position

The TRG Manufacturing Search Division is actively recruiting for an Applications/Project Engineer to join a world class manufacturer that is on pace to double in size in the next couple of years. This profitable, international corporation has built its success through designing and manufacturing a variety of engineered-to-order solutions for their customers in highly regulated industries, and the Applications Engineer will support their Aerospace projects. You will work closely with process and propulsion engineers at NASA, SpaceX, Axiom, and Blue Origin to provide specialty component parts for several of their reusable rocketry and next-generation space station projects. You will act as a subject matter expert providing expert technical consultation to sales team and the customers on product requirements. You will be called on to perform detailed design analyses for new aerospace parts and through the use of 3D CAD you will produce detailed drawing packages and manufacturing and component drawings that conform with applicable customer and industry specifications. This is a great job for a well-rounded engineer with strong design, project management, and customer support experience.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
  • Familiarity with Aerospace industry and platforms (FAA PMA)
  • 2+ years of Applications / Project Engineering experience within an AS9100 quality system a plus.
  • Solid engineering & analytical skills with the ability to write complex technical documents, including proposals, test plans, procedures, and reports.
  • Strong computer skills with hands-on 3D CAD design (Inventor, SolidWorks, etc.) experience
