Current Need
We are seeking an Inside Sales Manager to join our team in Richmond, VA.
Position Description
The Inside Sales Manager will monitor sales metrics, mentor, coach and manage the entire sales process. The chosen candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders, so it is essential that they have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable working in a team environment. They should also be able to lead and motivate the sales team to achieve specific goals.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for developing and supervising an inside sales team of 12 inside sales representatives with the support of the Director or Inside Sales. Work with inside sales reps to ensure the talent is utilizing best practices to meet/exceed monthly sales targets.
Minimum Requirements
Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 6 + years of professional experience and 0-2 years of supervisory experience

Up to 25% within the U.S when needed
Education
4-year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
Physical Requirements
Large percent of time performing computer-based work is required

- Ability to lead a team and drive sales revenue and expand GP%
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to train new hires
- Be a good teammate with peer managers and other department leadership
- Being a positive influence, good attitude, and strong company advocate is key
- Resilient critical thinker and problem-solver is critical
- Possess good mediator and solution implementation skills
- Have broad understanding of sound financial principles
- Provide monthly update on sales activity and performance of team
- Can take direction with the ability to offer strategic input.
Additional Knowledge & Skills
- Healthcare Distribution experience
- Experience selling capital equipment a plus
- Strong ability to build relationships over the phone
- Understanding of sales technology (i.e.- [please apply online] Vidyard, LinkedIn)
