Job Description
Enterprise Sales Account Executive
(Consulting, Public Cloud & Security)
Job Summary:
Enterprise Sales Account Executive is responsible for the selling of Public Cloud and Security Services within an assigned geographic region to drive pipeline expansion and new logo acquisition. This individual must be an ambitious sales professional who is business and technology driven with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed monthly consulting sales quota
- Lead and facilitate strategic customer conversations
- Drive customer discovery sessions to gain insight for current state and future needs Lead and manage the entire sales lifecycle: prospecting and lead generation, discovery, education and thought leadership, proposal development, negotiations and closure.
- Partner with operational and customer experience teams to ensure customer success
- Actively develop industry relationships to drive opportunities
- Perform direct customer sales in key areas; promotes and maintains customer relations with targeted accounts
- Develops and maintain sales by exploring and qualifying existing accounts in their assigned base
- Develop and maintain an adequate and high quality pipeline to ensure consistent delivery of results in sales year over year Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in CRM systems on all assigned accounts including sales opportunity data, quote records, customer contacts, dates, sales status, and contact information
- Prepares comprehensive quote packages for prospects
- Performs Business Reviews/Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) to maintain client SLA expectations and service delivery satisfaction depending on the requirements of the account
- Represents at conferences, meetings, exhibits, and other special events; promotes new and existing programs and initiatives
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of business practice, industry trends, and the competitive landscape to carry out a repeatable sales process
- Demonstrate a passion for learning and adapting to market and product changes
- Drive in person and virtual engagement with prospects and customers Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of combined services or technology sales experience in a related industry
- Broad experience leading strategic alliances for a fast-growing technology company is mandatory
- Understanding and experience selling IT and/or data center services such as colocation, virtual hosting, disaster recovery, security and consulting is preferred
- Good connections (personal network) in the industry
- Ability to lead and drive initiatives through consensus-building
- Team-orientation and win/win approach to creating business value
- Ability to develop and maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures utilizing [please apply online] to develop and implement comprehensive marketing goals, strategies, and plans
- Ability to develop, plan, and implement short and long term goals
- Comprehensive knowledge of marketing principles, concepts, and methodologies
Business and Technical Knowledge:
- Strong business acumen and exposure to various industries and verticals
- Proficient in the Microsoft tools and collaboration products– Specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
- Understanding of technology strategy, business applications, Hybrid IT and security and security,
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices- specifically Salesforce
- Direct sales experience with Consulting Sales, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or SaaS platforms
Interpersonal Skills:
- Must be results oriented, expertise driven, loves building relationships, and is passionate about sales
- Excellent oral and written communication with excellent presentations skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
- Ability to identify key issues in a situation and to think creatively and strategically in facing internal and external challenges
Travel Requirements:
- Up to 50% travel to include regular daily commutes, overnight stays and occasional weeklong absences from home
