The company’s ENvue® electromagnetic feeding tube placement system utilizes the most advanced methods of navigation, integrated sensors and body mapping to provide safe and rapid feeding tube placement for early enteral feeding.
Position
Reporting to the National Sales Director, the Territory Manager is responsible for achieving sales revenue objectives through existing and new accounts from the sales of ENvizion’s ENvue system, feeding tubes and accessories, and supporting accounts in the territory with ongoing training.
Principal Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly and yearly sales goals.
- Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of all ENvizion products and services.
- Demonstrate the ability to sell a concept.
- Ensure customers are trained on the safety and efficacy of products in the portfolio.
- Demonstrate effective use of all approved clinical data/studies and key placement guides
- Understand market trends in the territory and feed them back to management.
- Know and understand the competitive landscape in the marketplace and implement appropriate selling strategies.
- Take full responsibility for being up to date on:
1. Development of goals, objectives, and admin requirements
2. Sales forecasting
3. Necessary hospital credentialing that may be required for access.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key physicians, nurses, clinicians, department decision-makers, and administrators (multiple decision-makers and influencers) within assigned accounts or markets.
- Prepare a Territory Business Plan for quarterly review.
- Spend at least four days per week, out of the office, calling on customers – Clinical Nurse Specialist, Nurse Educators, Registered Dietitians, Physicians, Materials Managers, Procurement Directors, and Hospital Administration, including the CFO, CMO, CNO, and CEO
Education / Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.
Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
- Minimum two years experience of demonstrated success in disposable medical device sales – capital equipment sales preferred.
- Understanding of sales force organizational dynamics, sales tools, sales activities, and related sales problems.
- Proven ability to interact with different specialties within a hospital and deliver complex and technical subject matter to clinicians in the hospital or clinical setting.
- Self-directed, able to work independently and handle multiple projects concurrently to function in a fast paced, high growth environment.
- Strong problem solving/analytical skills and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, professional communication, and compelling presentation skills.
- Ability to handle difficult conversations/situations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and computer technology
- Valid driver’s license and insurance.
- Ability to travel up to 75% of time, domestically.
- Ability to carry detail bag weighing up to 20 lbs and lift equipment weighing up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to stand and/or walk in numerous hospitals or at meetings for 6 – 10 hours per day, up to five (5) days per week.
- Must be able to establish and maintain vendor credentials (via Symplr, Vendormate, etc.) to have the ability to enter and work, as required, in hospitals and other medical facilities, as an essential function of the job.
