We are hiring a Sr. Director of Sales (Mid-Market) that will play a crucial role in leading and acquiring new business by building relationships with service industry professionals. The ideal candidate for our Scottsdale, Arizona-based client will have the ability to quickly grasp the business, articulate the value of our client's services and products, and close deals with ease. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with Team Lead, or Sales Management experience to step into a larger Director of Sales role.
We're looking for a highly motivated, energetic individual who has a passion for sales and a strong drive to exceed targets. The ideal candidate takes a consultative approach to sales, has excellent communication skills, and can anticipate objections. Above all, this role requires dynamic thinking, an obsession with sales process, and a deep understanding of closing psychology.
As the leader of the sales team, you'll be responsible for hitting revenue targets, training and coaching your team, and constantly refining and improving the sales process. You'll work closely with the Account Management and Operations teams to ensure seamless client launches.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience leading a successful sales team
- Track record of training and developing successful sales reps
- Service/Home services industry sales experience a plus
- Expertise in advertising products and channel programs (Yelp, Thumbtack, Nextdoor, Google PPC & LSA)
- Proven success in hitting sales goals
- Excellent communication skills, including listening, written, presentations, and negotiations
- Passion for selling to service professionals across the nation
- Flexible mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and a team player
- Candidates will be required to participate in a practical pitch demonstration and undergo a full background check
Responsibilities:
- Understand all pricing and products of our client's services in the first 30 days
- Lead and train new and existing sales reps
- Ensure the team is properly staffed to reach/exceed goals
- Constantly refine and improve the sales offering and process
- Collaborate with executive leadership on sales forecasting
- Hold reps accountable to making 60+ calls per day and hitting targets
- Generate new business and make calls as part of the team
- Work closely with the Account Management and Operations teams to ensure seamless client launches
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive new business growth
- Mentor the sales team, providing coaching and support to drive success.
