Customer Service Representative – Insurance

Currently seeking an energetic Customer Service Representative for a great opportunity to work with a growing company in the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will possess 1 to 5 years of experience and a strong desire to grow within the organization.

Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative

• Assist in the enrollment process.
• Answer inbound calls leading to the sales of new policies as well as servicing existing policies.
• Make outbound calls to follow up on prospects.
• Provide detailed explanations of products being recommended and sold.
• Advocate for clients with insurance carriers regarding claims, enrollment and billing problems.

Requirements of the Customer Service Representative

• 1 to 5 years of experience and a strong desire to grow within the organization
• Experience in the insurance industry is preferred
• Ability to multi-task and problem-solve are assets to this position
• Training will be provided to motivated applicants with good computer skills and a positive attitude
• First and Second shift available

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Warwick, RI: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Call center: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
