Dollar Bank is looking for a customer service representative who enjoys working with customers to provide the best products and services for their financial needs. This is a sales position, but customer service and satisfaction are always our number one priority.

Duties:

• Engage in proactive conversations with customers and prospects in the Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Virginia Beach market areas through the handling of inbound calls to gain insight and knowledge regarding their banking needs.
• Sell and open various types of retail deposit and asset accounts (checking, savings, consumer loans, certificates of deposits and other services).
• Participate in outbound solicitation calls to existing customers for the purpose of generating additional products and services.
• Utilize professional customer service techniques when servicing customers and when resolving customer concerns. Act as a liaison to other departments in solving customer concerns.
• Meet all established sales and phone metric goals.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• At least one year of customer service experience required; one year of sales experience with a proven track record of meeting individual sales goals preferred.
• Financial institution and/or call center experience a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent computer, internet and technical skills.
• Ability to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to adapt to a changing work environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Candidates being considered will be subject to additional background checks as required by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
• Candidate must be able to work a rotating schedule. The hours for this department are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 8:00 pm and Saturday, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.

This position requires working a rotating schedule including some evenings and Saturdays. The department is open Monday through Friday, 8:00am-8:00pm and Saturday, 9:00am-3:00pm.
