We are searching for a Sales Assistant who can offer reliable support to the Account Executives. In this role, you should be well-organized and adaptable. Attention to detail and communication skills are both essential.

Responsibilities

- Create & update all required paperwork as needed for category review process. This will include creating one-page sell sheets, paperwork and templates across all business units. Templates and formats may vary based on the buyer and category. Examples of this task would be utilizing a manufacturer’s sales deck to pick out key selling points to translate into a one-page sell sheet.

- Conduct store checks & pricing surveys as requested by the sales team.

- Translate this information into presentable data. This may entail creating PowerPoint slides recapping observations. Purchase samples during these store visits as requested

- Conduct ad block maintenance as requested by AEs.

- Manage ad blocks by adding new items & deleting discontinued items as necessary

- If needed, submit ad plans as provided by AE into the Promo Planning Tool.

- Create one-page sell sheets and display forms for off-shelf displays as requested by Category Managers.

- This may also require submission of these plans into the ECRM Portal as needed.

- Complete templates by working with the manufacturers to build the Web content and submit to customer in the required format.

- Follow-through will be required to ensure content is uploaded in the proper format to the customer.

- Manage the Customer Policies deck on an ongoing basis once new policies, fees and documents become available to the vendor community.

- Request monthly vendor P&Ls and BDPs on behalf of JOH clients.

- Distribute to the appropriate manufacturer and AE upon receipt.

- Act as a backup to JOH Admin staff to complete NI forms as requested

- This may involve uploading information into the ECRM Portal for the Beauty Care categories

Requirements

- Proficient in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.

- Excellent communication abilities (oral and written)

- Attention to detail

- Outstanding organizational skills

- Ability to work under tight timelines

- May require visits to retail stores during normal business hours.

- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

- Once trained, job is performed at least 3 days in the office and up to 2 days remote.
