Full description of the position

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver a full curriculum sales training program for recent college graduates in consult with sales leadership
• Develop and deliver a full on-boarding curriculum for new sales hires with or without industry experience in consult with sales leadership
• Develop and execute external and internal recruiting strategy, which may include but not limited to on-campus activities, internal candidate activities, candidate interviews and the coordination of execution of offers with hiring managers
• Assess the capabilities needed to be a successful sales rep for Sappi. Manage the appropriate training solutions to enable Sappi sales to achieve its business objectives
• Develop and coordinate all internal sales training modules for current sales employees. These modules will be created based on current needs of the sales organization, and current market dynamics
• Ensure the internal training is consistent with the One Sappi and Thrive 25 initiatives, along with SNA marketing and sales strategies
• Support calibration of marketing and sales leadership in the evaluation of sales talent within existing structure and for potential future needs
• Develop appropriate process and outcome metrics to track the effectiveness of all training
• Collaborate effectively with other HR recruitment and training roles across SNA to leverage and support best practices, interdisciplinary learning opportunities and cross-functional employee development opportunities
• Ability to travel in support of training programming as needed
• Develop and deliver basic customer training (i.e. Basic Seminar) as requested

Skills & Requirements:

• Effective teaching and presentation skills, to include excellent verbal & written communication skills
• An understanding of Sappi strategy, products, brands, marketing focus, and sales processes
• An understanding of customer segments is preferred: merchants, printers, converters, corporate end users, creatives, and others
• Effective networking and interpersonal skills
• A basic knowledge of PowerPoint, and other training tools
