The Greer Group is currently seeking a talented Sales/Business Development Manager for our office! This candidate should have strong communication skills, ability to work independently as well as with a team, and feel comfortable in an inside and outside sales environment. Responsibilities:
- Seeks and follows leads to acquire new business.
- Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales.
- Work with Client Service Managers and Corporate Management to set pricing for custom business needs.
- Manage RFP’s and Contracts.
- Take and qualify Job Orders (This is a responsibility for every staff member).
- Build and maintain rapport with both existing and new clients.
- Assist with recruiting and filling orders when necessary.
- Communicate any concerns about orders to management.
- Assist in coordinating the overall marketing program.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in applicant tracking system for all activities.
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
- Attend industry networking events with the intention of generating new business prospects.
Position Requirements:
- Prefer a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources (or equivalent education and experience).
- Prefer prior experience in the recruitment, staffing industry or business to business sales.`
- In-depth knowledge of current recruiting practices and knowledge of basic recruiting concepts.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Self-starter who is driven to succeed.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Prefer candidates that are detail oriented.
- Ability to learn applicant tracking system.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple demands while being flexible.
- Strong initiative and solid judgment as well as good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet daily and weekly goals for sales activities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
