Product Manager - New Market Development

The Product Manager - New Market Development is responsible for identifying and developing new market opportunities for Digital Electricity in areas including datacenters, EV charging, industrial power, microgrids and AC Displacement in commercial buildings. This individual will play a key role in the company's growth strategy by identifying and evaluating new market segments, developing go-to-market plans, and leading the launch of new products in these markets. This person should be excellent at working with customers to define problem statements and be technical enough to work with engineering to develop solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate new market opportunities through market research and customer interaction to understand and define a problem statement that VoltServer can solve
• Work cross-functionally, to develop new solutions and products that have a clear value proposition in the new market area. Confirm this through prototypes, customer feedback and real world installations.
• Develop go-to-market plans and strategies for new market segments and applications
• Collaborate with sales, operations, marketing and engineering to ensure new market launches are effectively communicated and supported
• Continuously gather customer feedback and use it to improve product offerings

Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, preferably in a new market development role
• Experience working within at least one of the following market segments: Datacenters, Industrial, EV Charging, Microgrids, AC Infrastructure.
• Ability to understand market trends and their impact on VoltServers products & services
• Excellent understanding of product development and launch process
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
